ABOUT Australia post

Arguably one of Australia's most widely recognised brands, Australia Post has been in operation for over 200 years.

THE PROJECT

Development of a branding device to identify Australia Post's Centenary of WW1 program. The challenge was to create something iconic, but not over-powering, which would work across multiple stamp issues and products over a five year period. The solution was a brandmark with Poppy motif and logotype. Sierra Delta also had the privilege of designing the first stamp issue in the series, comprising of five stamps each with it's own historical image, headline and microtype.

SMALL DETAILS

The microtype paragraphs on each stamp were set in 2pt Leitura News. High quality stochastic screening allowed the printed type to remain crisp, even at this tiny size.
